Trucha has heaped praise on Murang’a Seal for making it difficult for his injury-ridden AFC Leopards despite beating them narrowly during their FKFPL encounter.
AFC Leopards head coach Tomas Trucha has admitted that his side were lucky against Murang’a Seal as they beat them 1-0 in an FKFPL match played at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A Victor Omune goal in the 29th minute was enough to give Ingwe all the three points to extend their winning streak to six from seven matches and leapfrog them into eighth place on the table with 30 points.
However, it was not an easy match considering it was marred by a lot of refereeing controversies, and opportunities were scarcely created by either side, but nonetheless, it was one of those games you would consider “winning ugly”

“I’m tired,” Trucha joked when quizzed about what he thought about the match .
“It was not an easy game because we lost the captain (Clifton Miheso), we lost the goalkeeper (Levis Opiyo to suspension), we lost Ken (Owino) to a knock.
“We had to make changes to the starting line-up, so I told the guys that I did not expect a perfect game, just put everything you have into the game. Fight.
“They made it, so I would say we should also give the benefit of doubt to Murang’a. They played well. We were lucky in this game
