Trucha has admitted that there were internal problems in the AFC Leopards camp that probably affected the final outcome of their clash with Homeboyz on Sunday.
AFC Leopards head coach Thomas Trucha has admitted that the club had some “Internal problems” before they played Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday.
The match was marked by tense and physical encounters, leading the centre referee to issue several yellow cards to players from both teams.
In the end, they shared the points, as AFC Leopards will now have their tally increased to 31 as they sit eighth while their rivals are seventh with two more points.
Despite this, he expressed satisfaction with the draw.

“We had some internal problems so it was not easy to prepare the team for this game so I am happy for the boys that we achieved a clean sheet and all the three points.”
Trucha has spoken about the tight nature of the game that prevented the game from getting into any sort of meaningful rythm
“Derby is derby and you never know who makes mistakes. We made mistakes and they also made mistakes. It was a very tight game.”

FKFPL Analysis : How Gor Mahia’s Austin Odhiambo proved too hot for City Stars to handle
Gor Mahia beat City Stars 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Benson Omala, but this is why Austin Odhiambo was the man that really won them that battle.
Trucha has teared into the dilapidated state of the Bukungu playing surface as a reason his team did not get to express itself well enough with the ball.
“It is a derby. They wanted to win, and both teams fought. The pitch is not the best so you cannot play much football. You just kick and run and fight.
“When we played City Stars, we tried looking for shortcuts to have more possibility to play football, but on a pitch like this that is heavy and dry, it is difficult to play football.”
