Shabana FC seeks redemption against Kariobangi Sharks, rallying fans for support in their Premier League showdown after a challenging start.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League newbies, Shabana FC, have issued a resounding call to their loyal supporters, urging them to turn up in droves for their highly anticipated clash with Kariobangi Sharks this Saturday.

Despite a rocky start to the season with three winless matches, Shabana is determined to turn the tide and secure maximum points against Kariobangi Sharks at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

"Fans have been doing a great job; they have been trying to push us hard all the time, especially when things are not going well. In the upcoming match, we will make them happy," read a statement from the club as translated from Kiswahili.

Shabana coach Sammy Okoth has consistently pointed to a lack of finishing and concentration as the culprits behind their struggles, and it seems his message is still sinking in.

In their previous match at the same venue, Shabana was held to a frustrating 1-1 draw, a result that left the club's fans disheartened.

Despite their challenging transition to the top flight after 17 years in the lower leagues, Shabana has displayed resilience by not conceding an overwhelming number of goals, a pleasant surprise to many.

In their league opener, Tore Bobe's squad came agonizingly close to securing a point but ultimately fell short, losing 1-0 to Murang’a Seal due to a late goal.

Their second match saw them take a 1-0 lead, only to let it slip away as they settled for a 1-1 draw with FC Talanta.

Shabana are currently placed 13th on the 18-team FKFPL table with two points from three matches while their next opponents Kariobangi Sharks are sixth with
