Tusker have signed two Ugandan players enhancing their defense and attack for the upcoming FKF Premier League season.

Tusker FC have signed two talented Ugandan footballers as part of their roster enhancement for the upcoming 2024/2025 FKF Premier League season.

The Brewers announced that both players have agreed to year-long contracts at Ruaraka solidifying their commitment just ahead of the new season.

The new signings include left-back George Kaddu and striker Boban Zirintusa.

Kaddu joins from Wakiso Giants where he left a significant mark in Uganda's football scene.

On the other hand, Zirintusa arrives from Biashara United of Tanzania, bringing with him a reputation for dynamic attacking play and an impressive goal-scoring record.

Boban Zirintusa, at 32, is a seasoned player whose career has spanned several countries, including stints in South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia.

"I am delighted to have joined a team of Tusker’s stature. I am here for work and will do my best to score goals and make the fans happy," said Zirintusa

George Kaddu, 25, is stepping outside Uganda for the first time to continue his professional journey.

“It is a delight joining Tusker FC, and I am really looking forward to doing better here. It is my first time playing outside Uganda, and I am ready for the challenge.

"I have been here for a few days, and the players have really welcomed me well on the pitch. I am looking forward to getting to know them better and earn results on the pitch as a team," he said.

Tusker, already home to Ugandan talents like striker Deogratius Ojok and midfielder John Toki Byamukama, appears to be solidifying its lineup with more East African expertise.

The Brewers strategy seems focused on building a robust squad capable of reclaiming the top spot in the league.

Last season, Tusker fell short of the championship, finishing second and trailing the champions Gor Mahia by eight points.
