The day's result implied Uganda progressed with a 4-2 aggregate, having toed 2-2 in the first leg last Saturday at the St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

On the day, the young Cranes opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, as Kabene latched on a loose ball to net in an empty net.

Nangendo then added a second three minutes later as she scored directly from a corner.

In the dying minutes, Nabukenya struck through a well-struck free-kick to perfectly ice the cake.

In the third qualification, Uganda will take on either of neighbours, Tanzania or Zambia.
