Barcelona are looking to bounce back from their recent disappointing results in La Liga as they face Brest in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Spanish giants suffered setbacks in La Liga, losing to Real Sociedad and drawing with Celta Vigo.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has identified defensive lapses as a key area of concern ahead of the clash.

"It's about eliminating the mistakes, that's important. We have to learn that - when we lead 2-0, with the red card we have to defend much better than we did," Flick told Reuters.

While Barcelona are one of the top teams in La Liga, they face a tough challenge against Brest, who have been impressive in the Champions League so far.

"They are doing really good, they deserve their 10 points and it was good how they played against Salzburg," Flick said.

Barcelona defender, Inigo Martinez echoed Flick's sentiments about the need to improve defensively.

"It was hard to digest, it was a game we had under control to some extent, we let crucial points get away from us. Physically we've got a very difficult opponent ahead of us, they're doing very well in the Champions League," Martinez said.

Barcelona will be without Lamine Yamal due to injury, while Alejandro Balde is also doubtful. However, the team will be relying on key players like Robert Lewandowski and Pedri to lead them to victory.
