Sunday Oliseh, Super Eagles legend, has expressed his pain at Borussia Dortmund's defeat by Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.
Real Madrid defeated Dortmund 2-0 at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday night to win a Champions League trophy that would tie the record at fifteen.
Dortmund's hopes of winning a second Champions League title were dashed by goals in the second half from Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal.
The loss left a former Dortmund player, Oliseh, sad after hoping his former team would claim the Champions League title.

Oliseh on Dortmund’s loss
Throughout his playing career, Oliseh spent four years with Dortmund, helping the team win the German Bundesliga in 2002.
The former winger, who won the 1999 UEFA Intertoto Cup with Juventus, had to endure losing a European Cup final that year as his Dortmund team placed second in the UEFA Cup.
The 49-year-old, who admits to being a Dortmund supporter, saw the Black and Yellow outperform Real Madrid in the first half before their wastefulness was penalised in the second half.
Oliseh credited Real Madrid's victory to their superior players and coach Carlo Ancelotti's outstanding work.
The former Super Eagles coach said on X, “Sad that my club BVB Dortmund could not lift the Champions League trophy today after putting up a good fight, but the quality of the Real Madrid players and the tactical and personnel changes Carlo Ancelotti made in the second half made the difference. and Camavinga”
Real Madrid has won 15 trophies overall, more than twice as many as their nearest rival, making them the most successful club in Champions League history.
