British-born Nigerian star Udoka Godwin-Malife may have already prepared for life after football following his performance at his Swindon Town initiation ceremony.
Nigerian footballer Udoka Godwin-Malife made quite an impression during his initiation ceremony at his new club Swindon Town.
Godwin-Malife delivered a British Got Talent-worthy performance as he introduced himself to his new teammates at Swindon.
The League Two club confirmed the signing of the young defender from Forest Green last weekend ahead of the new season.
Udoka’s brief
The 23-year-old started his career at another National League side, Oxford City, before he made the move to League Two club Forest Green, where he had played since 2019.
He proved to be a key player for the club as he helped them gain promotion while going on to make over a century of appearances for the club.
Godwin-Malife’s initiation
Following his arrival at Swindon, the young defender has already warmed his way into the hearts of his new teammates and fans.
During his initiation ceremony, he chose to sing the legendary song “All of Me” by famous musician and talent judge John Legend.
To the shock of his teammates, the versatile forward did not disappoint as he delivered a perfect performance that left them shocked.
It was such a beautiful rendition that would leave one asking if Udoka has chosen the wrong career at the moment.
The talented stopper has also taken to his social media page to indicate that he is open for booking.
“Any bookings please dm my manager @chazaustin10 thanks,” he posted on X.com.
I am sure that he is capable of delivering another excellent performance if you go ahead to book him for your event.
However, fans of Swindon would be hoping his performance on this pitch is as good or even better than his singing.
