Reigning champions Manchester City were also the recipient of a kind draw.

Only a few weeks to go now until that famous music is back on our screens, and Champions League fever has hit new heights after Thursday's group stage draw, which was held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Defending Champions Manchester City find themselves in Group G where they will face RB Leipzig, Crvena Zvezda, and Young Boys.

Manchester United will square off against the formidable Bayern Munich, determined Copenhagen, and resurgent Galatasaray in Group A.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's journey through Group B sees them locking horns with the skillful Sevilla, the determined PSV, and the ambitious Lens.

Newcastle faces an uphill battle in Group F, navigating intense encounters against the star-studded PSG, the relentless Borussia Dortmund, and the historically dominant AC Milan.

City finally managed to secure their first Champions League title last term when they defeated Internazionale 1-0 in the final.

Two-time Champions League winner Eric Abidal and former England winger Joe Cole, who was a runner-up with Chelsea in the 2007-08 season, helped conduct the draw.

From the kickoff of Matchday 1 on September 19-20, to the final whistle of Matchday 6 on December 12-13, 2023, every encounter promises heart-pounding action, breathtaking goals, and unforgettable moments that will be etched into the annals of football history.

Wembley Stadium will host the 2023 final, marking the centenary year of the opening of the original twin-towered Empire Stadium in 1923. This will be the eighth time Wembley has hosted the European final.

The 90,000-capacity arena last staged the final of the largest club competition in European football in 2013 when Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1.

In the 2011 final, Manchester United was beaten 3-1 by Barcelona, with goals coming from Pedro, Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, and David Villa.
