Madoi is a product of Uganda school football giants St Mary's Secondary School, Kitende, which he helped clinch the 2023 National Schools Football Championship at the expense of St. Henry's Kitovu.

Wakiso Giants Football Club defender Ronald Madoi has jetted out of the country to seal a deal to join Italian outfit Suzzara Sports Club.

The Uganda U20 player and the Italian Sixth-tier outfit initially agreed on a deal in August last year, but it has dragged on for unknown reasons.

However, on Sunday, Madoi departed the country for Italy to put pen to paper on a reported two-year employment contract.

Madoi is a product of Uganda school football giants St Mary's Secondary School, Kitende, which he helped clinch the 2023 National Schools Football Championship at the expense of St. Henry's Kitovu.

He has also been through the national team ranks, including the U17 and U20, and was part of Uganda's team that won the 2017 U17 CECAFA Championship.

He also helped the Uganda U2O team clinch the 2022 CECAFA trophy in Sudan, as they qualified for the Egypt Africa Cup of Nations before getting eliminated in the quarterfinal stage by Nigeria.

He has formerly featured for Wakiso Giants Junior Team and Divine Soccer Academy.

In the Italian lower divisions, he will link up with former Arua Hill SC forward Ronald Innocent Media and ex-SC Villa player Oscar Mawa.
