The player joined Gor Mahia on a four-month contract after parting ways with Ugandan Premier League side URA FC.

Kagimu explained that he opted to move to Gor Mahia because of his ambition of winning the league title, with the K'Ogalo having dominated Kenyan football for many years.
"It is a pleasure to join the club. Gor Mahia is one of the best teams in the county and Africa; thus, this step is very important for my football career.
And being great Ugandan players such as Baba Kizito, Dan Sserukuma, and Khalid Aucho have played for this club and gone far, that was another reason that made me join the club," Kagimu told Pulse Sports.

The former RS Berkane striker powered K’Ogalo to a huge win over Vihiga Bullets on Wednesday.
Kagimu opted to join Gor Mahia on a short-term deal pending his move to an un-named Turkish top-flight side.
The 24-year-old has reunited with coach Johnathan McKinstry, a former Uganda national team manager.
"McKinstry is someone who is always hard on you, always wants perfect perfection and is always pushing you so that you can do your best. He is someone good to work with," he added.
Kagimu's registration to Gor Mahia was successful after FIFA lifted the transfer ban imposed on the club.
He arrived at the club alongside Rwandese international Emery Bayisenge, Uganda's Patrick Kaddu, and former Kakamega Homeboyz defender Sylvester Owino.
