Former Bandari FC midfielder Faraj Ominde among potential signings as coach Kimani takes charge.

Ulinzi Stars' new head coach, Anthony 'Modo' Kimani, has promised to steer the four-time Football Kenya Federation Premier League champions back to their glory days.

The former Bandari FC coach expressed his excitement to represent the interests of the fantastic club and is determined to develop a winning team that will make the fans proud.

With the departure of key players, Kimani faces the task of identifying and signing the right talent to champion his ambitions at the club.

As the team begins their preparations for the upcoming season, all eyes will be keenly watching the developments, including the possible signings and the impact on the team's performance.

Kimani's appointment as head coach of Ulinzi Stars marks a new chapter for the club that has experienced mixed fortunes in recent years.

With a rich history of success, the fans have been eager to see their beloved team return to its winning ways.

During his time with Bandari, Kimani showcased his coaching prowess, and now he has a chance to make a lasting impact at Ulinzi Stars.

"I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Ulinzi Stars' interests. This is a fantastic club. I am very excited to be here and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be proud of," said Kimani.

One of the key challenges Kimani faces is filling the places left vacant by departing players. Francis Omondi's exit to Kakamega Homeboyz has left a void in the team that needs to be addressed.

However, amidst these departures, there are players currently training with the club who might have a chance to prove their worth and secure contracts with Ulinzi Stars.

Former Bandari midfielder Faraj Ominde is one such player training with the team. Having become a free agent after leaving Bandari, Ominde brings experience and skill to the midfield, which could be valuable assets for Kimani's plans.

Additionally, Nicholas Omondi, captain of the National Super League side Darajani Gogo, is another player on Ulinzi Stars' radar.

Despite attracting interest from other clubs, the talented midfielder is keen on making a mark with the former champions.

Joining Nicholas Omondi is Herrit Mungai, who was recently released by Nairobi City Stars. Mungai's versatility and attacking prowess make him an exciting prospect for the Ulinzi Stars' frontline.

Kimani is expected to carefully assess these potential signings and their compatibility with his tactical approach before making any decisions.

The gaffer’s main objective is to reawaken Ulinzi Stars as serious contenders in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
