Unai Emery hailed Marcus Rashford as humble contrary to Ruben Amorim’s verdict of the England star. Emery added that Rashford is blending with his teammates nicely and so far, things are looking good for him.

“He is a good guy – humble, a very good professional, and he is really happy with his team-mates. He is being demanding on himself and with everything we want to work on with him, with the team,” Unai Emery said as per the Daily Mail.

“He is playing free, he feels comfortable and this is the most important thing. We try to connect with him as a person first of all, and afterwards as a player.”

Unai Emery revealed that Rashford has become comfortable playing in different positions, something he had been unable to showcase during his early days at Villa Park.

He added that Rashford needs a little bit of work but so far, he is on the right track to getting his spark back.

“His process here is getting better, playing in two different positions. He started with us as a left-winger and now he is playing more as a striker. It’s about how he can exploit his qualities as well as he can,” Unai Emery said.

“There is still work to do but the most important thing is his feeling. We are seeing him smiling and it is the best news we can have. I am seeing him happy, committed to everything we are doing and now it’s just about watching him play.”

Unai Emery’s glowing assessment of Marcus Rashford reflects that he appears to be thriving in his new environment.

As Aston Villa goes up against Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League, all eyes will be on Marcus Rashford to deliver one more time.
