Liverpool scored two late goals to defeat Fulham 4-3 in a thrilling Premier League game at Anfield.
How it happened
Liverpool initially thought they scored early in the game, but the goal was disallowed because of an offside. However, they later scored when Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick bounced off Bernd Leno's back and went in.
Fulham then broke a streak of games at Anfield without a goal from Harry Wilson. Alexis Mac Allister scored a fantastic long-distance goal for Liverpool, but Fulham struck back with goals from Kenny Tete and Tim Ream, although Ream's goal was disallowed. In the second half, Liverpool aimed to continue their great home record.
Darwin Núñez came close to scoring, but Fulham didn't give up. With 10 minutes left, Fulham completed a surprising comeback. Bobby Decordova-Reid, assisted by Tom Cairney, scored a header.
The match remained chaotic, and two late goals by Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold turned the game around, resulting in a dramatic comeback for Liverpool.
