Kampala International University (KIU) will seek swift recovery from their match day one defeat to Busitema when they host Kumi University on Saturday in the Pepsi University Football League.
Following the victory, Geoffrey Akabwai expressed his satisfaction that his team adhered to the game plan that led to their success.
“I am pleased with our first win of the season, we made efforts to rectify our previous mistakes, seizing the perfect opportunity to do so,” Akabwai conveyed to the media.

The victory elevates KIU to three points, putting them on par with Busitema University as they prepare for a doubleheader against title contenders Uganda Christian University.
Meanwhile, Kumi University will also enter their upcoming fixtures with hopes of securing their first win, facing Busitema University in the doubleheader.
