Since 2019, URA have won six of the ten games between the two sides.

URA FC have returned to business after days off following the demise of head coach Sam Timbe last week.

Having been away from the pitch since Friday, the team returned to training Wednesday morning in preparation for their FUFA Super 8 Tournament semi-final clash with KCCA FC on Friday.

The team will enter camp after Thursday’s morning session.

Assistant coach Fred Muhumuza is the man trusted with shaping the team’s immediate future, having been Timbe’s understudy.

URA FC will face KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium with their focus on reaching the Super 8 Final.

Fixtures between the two sides from the recent past suggest that the Tax Collectors have the upper hand going into Friday’s clash, but they will face a different KCCA side that is high on confidence.

Since 2019, URA have won six of the ten games between the two sides.

KCCA FC head coach Sergio Traguil, however, noted recently that ‘history belongs in the past’ when referring to the team’s poor record against URA.

The Tax Collectors defeated Soltilo Bright Stars 2-1 in the quarter-final, while KCCA beat Wakiso Giants 2-0.

The winner of the tie will face BUL, who defeated SC Villa 1-0 in the first semi-final for the trophy in the final.
