Viana expressed her gratitude to both Nacional and Sao Paulo for their support and compassion following the tragedy. She also shared the heartbreaking task of informing Izquierdo's two-year-old daughter of her father's passing.
"We wanted to know what caused the arrhythmia because Juan had never had heart problems," she told Sport890.
