According to Turkish publication Posta, the drama unfolded late Thursday evening, just days after a disappointing UEFA Europa League result for Galatasaray.

Osimhen, dressed in a yellow hoodie and a beanie, was leaving a high-end entertainment venue with his entourage when photographers approached him.

Reports suggest that things quickly escalated. As cameras flashed, Osimhen allegedly lost his temper, with accusations claiming he struck one of the journalists.

2. Allegations of bribery and threats

The journalist involved, identified as Bozduman, claimed Osimhen tried to offer a bribe in an attempt to cover up the incident.

“He offered, ‘Destroy the footage, I’ll give you money,’” Bozduman revealed, describing the audacious nature of the alleged request.

When the journalist refused, the situation reportedly took another turn.

“He said, ‘I’ll destroy you,’” Bozduman added, alleging that the footballer issued a threatening statement after the refusal.

3. Osimhen’s cryptic social media post

Amid the allegations, Osimhen posted a cryptic video to his Instagram story featuring Ghanaian comedian Akrobeto Akwasi Boadi sarcastically laughing. The post, which had no caption, left fans speculating about its meaning.

4. Osimhen’s denial

After scoring a penalty to secure a 1-0 victory for Galatasaray over Konyaspor, Osimhen addressed the allegations head-on. Speaking to Turkish journalist Enes Cevahirci in an interview shared on X, the Nigerian international categorically denied the claims.

"I didn’t hit the journalists; they are lying," Osimhen said. "Why are you flashing your face? You have to ask permission for an interview. I told them they had to delete my photos. If I wanted to hit them, I would have."

5. Legacy action on the horizon

Osimhen went further, accusing the journalist of fabricating the story to damage his reputation. The striker vowed to pursue legal action if the allegations persist.

He alleged that the accuser is lying to tarnish my image and will face the full wrath of the law if they continue with this lie.

The saga remains ongoing, with no resolution in sight. Fans and observers await further developments as both sides stand firm in their positions.
