Osimhen to Manchester United
Reports stemmed from Italian and Spanish sources in the past few days claiming that Manchester United are interested in signing Osimhen and have initiated contact with the striker.
With Marcus Rashford's exit from Old Trafford increasingly likely, after he was dropped from the matchday squad in each of the last three games, it was alleged that the Red Devils hoped to sell the England international this January and reinvest the funds in signing Osimhen.
The 27-year-old is said to be available for around €50 million, and should the Red Devils get in the desired fee, they will have to add around €75 million to match Napoli's ask for the Nigerian.
Update on the report
Nigerian broadcast journalist Buchy, who is also a close associate of Osimhen, took to social media to set the record straight.
He reiterated that the Nigerian was without an agent after parting ways with Roberto Calenda following his failed exit from Napoli last summer.
The 25-year-old, with the help of his lawyers, negotiates his deals himself, according to the report, and has not had any contact with the record Premier League winners.
