Speaking after the game, Osimhen stated hat his injury was not serious.
He said, "My injury is not serious! I felt a slight pain during the match and I told Icardi and Okan coach about it immediately.

"I did not go out in the second half so as not to risk it. Icardi and I have a very good rapport."
Results from tests will now show if Osimhen will miss Nigeria's upcoming 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
