The reigning African player of the year, Victor Osimhen, has returned with the Super Eagles for this month's African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Nigeria's senior national team head coach Austine Eguavoen has also recalled Sadig Umar from Real Sociedad and Gabriel Osho from Auxerre.
The Super Eagles need just one point from these matches to secure a place in next year's AFCON, following CAF's decision to award them three points from the abandoned game against Libya.

'I believe' — Kanu Nwankwo backs Ademola Lookman for CAF Player of the Year
Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo has backed Ademola Lookman to be crowned CAF Player of the Year for 2024.
Additionally, Nasarawa United defender Victor Collins receives his first call-up and will compete with Bruno Onemaechi for the left-back position. Osho replaces the injured Semi Ajayi, while Sadiq takes the place of Taiwo Awoniyi, who was omitted from the squad.
