Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is currently enjoying significant boost in his social media profile following his transfer to Galatasaray, Pulse Sports reports.
Galatasaray confirmed Osimhen has already agreed to join the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Napoli for the 2024/25 season, after seeing his transfer to Chelsea collapse on deadline day.
However, since Galatasaray announced an agreement had been reached with Napoli via its official social media pages, Osimhen has continued to gain hundreds of followers.

Pulse Sports reports that in the last 24 hours, Osimhen, the second most-followed Nigerian footballer, has already gained over 100,000 followers and counting on his Instagram page.
Osimhen was on 4.4 million followers as as at the time of the transfer announcement.

However, his followers grew to 4.5 million less than 24 hours after.

However, between September 1 and September 3, Osimhen has gained a total of 400,000 followers and counting on Instagram, averaging a daily ration of 5,023 followers, Pulse Sports can confirm.

This growth further underscores Osimhen’s influence as one of the most influential African footballers in the world.

Victor Osimhen is set return to action in Europe this season after all.
The 25-year-old Nigeria international was banished from Napoli’s first-team squad after being ruled out of Antonio Conte’s plans for the 2024/25 season.
Osimhen looked destined to become the latest arrival at Stamford Bridge, but negotiations failed to progress between his representatives and Chelsea’s delegation, forcing him to stay back in Naples despite a life-changing €30 million-per-year offer from the Middle East.
According to several reports, Al Ahli had already put forward a staggering ₦54 billion (€30 million) annual salary offer for Osimhen, spread over a four-year contract worth a total of a whopping ₦216 billion (€120 million).
