Victor Osimhen has reacted to Galatasaray's 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa after scoring a brace.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has expressed his disappointment after Galatasaray's thrilling 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig.

Despite scoring a brace, Osimhen's efforts were not enough to secure a win for his team, who have now failed to win their last two league games.

What Osimhen said

The former African Player of the Year disclosed that he is disappointed in the results, but stated that he is proud of his team.

"I would say disappointment. That's the best way to put it," Osimhen told the club's official website.

"We fought against an effective opponent. I'm proud of my teammates for their efforts."

Osimhen's brace takes his goal tally to 16 in the Turkish Super Lig this season, with four assists in 21 league appearances. He now has the highest goal involvement in the league.

Galatasaray's draw with Kasimpasa has dealt a blow to their title hopes, but Osimhen remains optimistic.

"Football is like that sometimes. This is a tough league. You have to fight well from the first minute to the last. You can be punished very quickly," he said.

The Nigerian international is confident that his team has the quality needed to win the championship.

He added, "We remain in the championship race. We have all the quality needed to win."

Galatasaray's next match will be important in their title bid, and Osimhen will be hoping to lead his team to victory.
