Ahead of a big money sponsorship deal with SC Villa, Shandong Linglong Tyre representatives have touched down on Ugandan soil to complete the fine details.
The Chinese contingent flew into the country on Monday, with the official unveiling of the partnership slated for Thursday this week.
The monetary package has been reported to be in the region of $1,250,000 (over Shs.4.5B) for five years.
And, according to the terms of the contract, Linglong will inject $250,000 (Shs.900m) per season, where $80,000 (Shs.290m) will mainly go to the team's salaries.
The remaining $170,000 (Shs.617m) will be geared towards the construction of a sports complex (stadium).
The latter sums will be in addition to the Shs. 3B the club secured from Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) as compensation for infringing on their Villa Park facility in Nsambya.
It should be noted that Linglong Tyre has previously held partnerships with some of Europe's best sides, including Wolfsburg in Germany and Italy's Juventus.
The company was founded in 1975 as Zhaoyuan Tire Manufacturing and Repairing Plant by Wang Xicheng.
