While the bout provides the Venoms with a chance to cover more ground on the table in their bid to defend the title, they will be fully conscious of the threat the hosts can pose.

Vipers SC will be extremely chary in their approach against an in-form Arua Hill SC team when the two lock horns in the Uganda Premier League at the Barifa Stadium on Tuesday.

While the bout provides the Venoms with a chance to cover more ground on the table in their bid to defend the title, they will be fully conscious of the threat the hosts can pose.

"Big game for us. Massive game – and difficult as well, Arua Hill away," a calm Alex Isabirye noted in an interview with the club media.

The Kitende side sits third with 36 points, five adrift of runners-up KCCA FC and seven behind leaders SC Villa. The latter pair have played two and four games more, respectively.

"I don't count the gap in points between them and us, but we have to go for the game," Isabirye added.

Arua Hill has picked two successive victories, including a 1-0 against Villa and a 2-1 win against Gaddafi FC.

"We know it is difficult. However, we all know Arua Hill is a well-organised side with an extremely high level of defending and counter-attacking, which is a massive thing."

"Arua Hill is in a good moment; they beat Villa away and, over the weekend, defeated Gaddafi. So, they are now confident and strong."

Vipers edged the reverse fixture in the round 1-0, courtesy of skipper Milton Karisa's first-half strike.

The other two meetings two have gone either way. Last season, Arua Hill won 1-0 at Barifa before Vipers picked a comfortable 3-1 victory at the St Mary's Stadium Kitende.
