Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have all but confirmed the departures of the trio of Najib Yiga, Cromwell Rwothomio and Karim Ndugwa.
The three have not made the final squad for the 2023/24 season and their shirt numbers have been given out to new faces.
Rwothomio's shirt 17 has been taken up by Rodriguez Shamamba, Grant Matsiko for Ndugwa's 28 while Yiga's 26 will be donned by Brazilian, Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez.
While the club is yet to confirm their departures, missing out of the squad means they won't feature for the club and will find solace elsewhere.
This further stamps the rumours that have linked each of them to new sides in and out of the country.
Rwothomio only joined the side at the start of last season on a two-year contract from URA FC and scored just thrice in the league.
Despite the struggles at Kitende, he's a proven marksman and has been linked to Arua Hill SC and a move to Egypt.
Meanwhile, Ndugwa, who joined in January this year, will walk away after netting just twice. He has been rumoured to a move to Express FC.
On the other hand, Yiga is a product of the club's feeder side, St Mary's Secondary School, Kitende, and he leaves a two-time league and one-time Uganda Cup winner
