FOOTBALL How KCCA did a David De Gea on Geoffrey Wasswa
Before Wasswa left for the Uganda Cranes camp for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria in June, Wasswa had reached a deal in principal for a contract extension with the club.
Wasswa has since been linked to several clubs, including Uganda Revenue Authority and Egyptian second-tier side Wadi Degla.
There are also reports linking the defender to an Ethiopian top-flight side. With various suitors knocking, Wasswa is weighing his options.
He made 27 league appearances for KCCA last season as they came close to lifting the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.
