Wasswa adds to talisman Muhammad Shaban (suspension), and attacker Usama Arafat Kizza, plus defender Haruna Lukwago, who are away for international engagements with the Uganda U20 team in the All Africa Games in Ghana.
Ahead of their titanic clash with reigning champions Vipers SC, KCCA FC have confirmed that experienced midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa is set to sit out the affair through injury.
Without setting clarity on the kind of injury or his supposed spell on the sidelines, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru made it public knowledge that Wasswa wouldn't make the squad to Kitende on Friday.
"Wasswa is the other one who is out," Mubiru told the press in his pre-match interview.
It should be recalled that Wasswa was stretchered off in KCCA's 1-0 win over URA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on March 4 in Lugazi.
