Canadian rapper Drake has backed Lionel Messi and Argentina to defeat France in the final of the FIFA World Cup on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
The news comes following a footage that surfaced on social media on Saturday showing Drake, wearing the jersey of Serie A club Napoli, while discussing Sunday's final between Argentina and France.
'I'll take Argentina, he'll take France. That will be a vibe,' Drake was heard saying in the three-second footage that appears to be filmed in a studio with a friend.
Although, details about how much his stake is yet to be known, it is expected that it will be as high as he normally would bet having previously staked bets with large sums between $500,000 to $1 million.
