StarTimes Uganda Premier League sides Kitara FC and Wakiso Giants are set to face off in a fundraising match this Sunday 26th August, at the Kigaaya Grounds in Hoima.
The newly-promoted side is looking to use the friendly encounter to unveil their new signings but, most importantly, to collect funds for the construction of their stadium.
Kitara has been forced to host their premier league matches away at the Masindi Stadium due to a lack of facility that meets the minimum standards.

“Bunyoro Giants meet the Wakiso Giants FC at Kigaaya this Saturday for a fundraising friendly match of KitaraFC Stadium,” Kitara FC’s president Deo Kasozi announced while urging the fans to turn up in numbers to support the team.
“Your financial and moral support is vital as you watch your favourite players do the magic,” he urged.
Kitara will mark their official return to the Uganda Premier League on Friday 15th September against SC Villa at Wankulukuku.
They will play UPDF, Gaddafi, KCCA and Wakiso Giants in the other opening five matches in that order.

Thursday 28th September: vs Gaddafi FC (A)
Friday 20th October: vs KCCA FC (H)
Saturday 28th October: vs Wakiso Giants (A)
