Following his exit from Vipers SC, highly talented central defender, Bashir Asiku is set to be unveiled at Uganda Premier League outfit, Wakiso Giants Football Club.
Asiku and Wakiso have already reached an agreement and he will officially become a Purple Shark in the coming days, according to Sports Nation.
The 23 year-old is a St Mary's Secondary School Kitende (SMASK) graduate, which is also Vipers' main feeder side.
He has never played for any other team other than the Kitende side, in his entire career, with Wakiso Giants providing a fresh environment for his development.
Asiku, who has previously featured for Uganda's U-17 and U-20 teams, is a hugely talented defender but is yet to reach fulfill the potential he promised as a teenager.
Over his four top-flight years at Kitende, Asiku only played 37 league games, including seven last season.
He is a three-time Uganda Premier League, two-time Uganda Cup and one-time FUFA Super 8 tournament winner.
