The Wanyama’s are yet to disclose the type of support they have received. It was, however, noted that with the support, the project will not only be able to help provide a platform for the next generation of young footballers in Kenya, but also contribute to the grassroots development of the sport.

Despite retiring from international duty in 2021, Wanyama announced his potential comeback last December after meeting with Kenya's sports minister, Ababu Namwamba.
Betgr8 said the decision to support the initiative was a way to give back to the community and in particular to show commitment in supporting sports in Kenya.
On his part, Mariga said with the support, they will be keen to nurture young talent with the hope of developing future stars.

The former Inter Milan star will face the interview panel on March 1, 2023.
