Super Falcons of Nigeria striker Asisat Oshoala was on target as Barcelona recorded a 4-0 victory away against Valencia in a Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino fixture played on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
The 28-year-old Oshoala retains her place in the Barcelona starting lineup after back-to-back hattrick against Granadilla Tenerife and Levante Las Planas.
Oshoala was deployed in front three by Head Coach Jonatan Giráldez. Just three minutes into the game, the Nigerian provided the first goal for Fridolina Rolfö.
In the 15th minute, Oshoala got on the score sheet as she converted a cross by Nuria Rábano.
Marta Torrejón capitalized on a mix-up by the Valencia defense to give Barcelona a three-goal lead at the halftime break.
Just at the start of the second half, Rábano turned provider for Aitana Bonmatí to score the fourth.
There were no more goals scored in the game as Barcelona held on to claim three points.
Oshoala featured for all 90 minutes and now has 14 goals in the league one behind Levante's Redondo Ferrer for the Pichichi award she won last season.
