Cristiano Ronaldo found himself in a heated confrontation following Al Nassr's heart-wrenching defeat to Al Ain in the Asian Champions League quarter-final.

In a dramatic encounter, Ronaldo's lone successful penalty kick wasn't enough to secure victory for Al Nassr, who fell 3-1 in the shootout after squandering three of their four attempts.

The veteran forward, who also notched a 118th-minute equalizer, may rue his missed opportunity earlier in the match when he failed to convert from close range.

Despite the Portugal captain's valiant efforts, his team succumbed to a loss, ending their hopes of clinching the prestigious title.
