Ahmed Musa announced his third-term return to the NPFL by scoring a solo run and scoring from a team move.

In his third stint in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa returned with a brace.

Musa scored a solo run and a goal from a team move. He could have bagged a hat-trick but failed to convert from the penalty spot.

The 2013 African Cup of Nations winner scored twice against Sunshine Stars at the Mohammadu Dikko Stadium.

The 31-year-old forward started his professional career with JUTH FC in 2009, before he joined Kano Pillars.

He scored 18 goals in that season to help Kano Pillars finish second in the NPFL and earned him the league's top scorer award.

The performance set the stage for his successful European career, which included stints with VVV Venlo and Leicester City.
