Wazito FC have confirmed the appointment of Charles Odera as their new head coach for the remainder of the season.
The former APS Bomet head coach has arrived at the club to try and steady their ship after a series of poor results.
Wazito FC chairman Moses Adagala has confirmed the appointment of Odera who recently resigned as the APS Bomet coach.
“Odera is a young ambitious coach and we believe that he will deliver. We settled on him after careful consideration and we will give him all the necessary support," Adagala said.
Odera will be assisted by Ibrahim Ateng and Samuel Odhiambo, with the latter doubling up as the goalkeepers' coach.
Ugandan tactician Paul Nkata is the club's new technical director ending speculations about his role there.
Nkata was rumoured to be the new manager at the club following the exit of Jeffers Odongo.
The 62-year-old, Nkata previously coached Kakamega Homeboyz, Nairobi City Stars, Bandari FC, and Tusker and is remembered for guiding the Brewers to a double in the 2016 season.
