Everton boss Sean Dyche believes his team displayed their new mentality during the hard-fought 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
Everton led three times with Palace restoring parity on two occasions.
Vitalii Mykolenko opened the scoring inside the opening minute, with his second goal in as many games.
Idrissa Gueye sealed the points in the dying minutes keep Everton 8 points away from the relegation places.
After fighting relegation for the past two seasons, Sean Dyche believes the Toffees are changing the discussion and narrative.
"We're finding ways to win, that's a massive factor. We're growing here," he said.
"This season it's our responsibility to change the story. We're beginning to. It's only beginnings, but we are changing the Everton story.
