Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has come out fighting after his side's 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday evening.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is staying positive despite experiencing the worst run of his managerial career.
The champions lost 2-1 to Brighton, extending their run of defeats to four straight games.
After Liverpool defeated Aston Villa 2-0, Guardiola's men are now five points off the top.
“I love a challenge. I won’t step back, more than ever I want to do it,” Guardiola told reporters after the game.
“People want our era to be over but… we’re not finished yet.”Guardiola has led Man City to win six Premier League titles in the last seven years."
The champions are dealing with injuries to several key players and the international break is coming at an excellent time, as they aim to bounce back from this wretched run.
Up next for City is a home game against Tottenham.
