On Friday, Fulham will visit Old Trafford for the official opening game of the English Premier League for the 2024–2025 season.
Iwobi scored a late winner during their previous meeting in Manchester after his Nigerian teammate Calvin Bassey broke the tie.

Speaking ahead of the new season, Iwobi told Fulham’s official website, “I mean, we were able to do it last season.
“Hopefully, we can do it again this season and start the season strong. It is a great test against Manchester United, one of the best teams in the Premier League, away.
“It is a good challenge for us. Last time out, was one of my most memorable moments in a Fulham jersey, but I am trying to create more.

“So, maybe we can do it again and create more, but it is all in the past now. It is about the present and hopefully doing it again.”
Meanwhile, Iwobi has welcomed his former teammate to Fulham after he completed his move to the Cottagers.
