Zimbabwean winger Tawanda Chirewa has stated that they would go into their clash against the Super Eagles without fear despite the host of stars the Nigerian team boasts of.
The 21-year-old winger and Wolves loanee is currently plying his trade for Huddersfield Town in the EFL League One. He came off the bench in the 2-2 result against the Benin Republic and his introduction inspired the Warriors to draw, as they were 2-1 down by halftime.

Speaking after the game against Gernot Rohr's side and about their upcoming match-up against the Super Eagles, the youngster acknowledged the strength of Eric Chelle's side but remained confident that they had nothing to fear.
“I am just looking at recovery and going again on Tuesday against Nigeria, which is a very good team,” Chirewa admitted, per The Standard. “A lot of players play in England and Europe.

“Obviously, I want to go out there and show what I can do. Our team has got so many good players as well so we can’t fear Nigeria. Today when we started playing in the second half Benin couldn’t contain us.”
Due to his performance against the Cheetahs, Chirewa is expected to start on the flanks in the match for Michael Nees's side against the Super Eagles. Meanwhile, Eric Chelle is also expected to make some changes to the side that started against Rwanda.
