Erik Ten Hag has explained why Jadon Sancho isn't in his Manchester United team for their match against Brighton.
The Dutch manager kept the starting lineup and bench from last week's 1-0 victory over Fulham.
However, Sancho was not even listed as a reserve player, leaving fans thinking there might have been another issue.
This implies that Sancho, who is rumoured to have missed the Fulham match due to illness, missed the opportunity to play potentially meaningful minutes once more.

Ten Hag explains Sancho’s omission
Ten Hag has now explained Sancho's exclusion, saying he must select his starting eleven.
Speaking to TNT Sports before kick-off, as reported by the Sun, he said, "He's here. I had a choice to make.
"We had some issues, we need a full squad. He's one of them and needs to compete for his position, we'll have a look. In the squad, it's a long season."
Sancho and Ten Hag had a significant falling out last season when Ten Hag left him out of his squad to play Arsenal.
The former Dortmund player then took to social media to publicly criticise Ten Hag's remarks before being sent on loan.
However, the English winger returned to the fold at Manchester United after dispute settling talks with Erik ten Hag.
Juventus are reportedly interested in Sancho, who has also been linked to a move out of Old Trafford.
