While acknowledging the disappointing result, Kompany emphasised the importance of learning from the mistakes and focusing on the future.
"There are games where it is clear what happened. But that was a game with a lot of moments and not everything went wrong," he said.
Kompany also defended his team's defensive performance, stating that the blame shouldn't be solely placed on the defenders.

The Bundesliga giants have conceded in all but two games this season, leading to criticism of their structure.
"We conceded four goals. But I would not just talk about that (defence). It's too easy. The responsibility lies with the entire team," he explained.
Bayern Munich currently sit at the top of the Bundesliga table, but the heavy defeat to Barcelona has raised questions about their ability to compete at the highest level in Europe.
However, Kompany remains confident in his team's ability to bounce back and achieve success.
"We have the quality and players. I understand we lost and we have to accept the criticism. But I do not want to lose sight of what the boys can achieve if they take the next steps," he said.
