During the double media sessions, the 39-year-old re-emphasised several critical areas for improvement, including intensity, physicality, fitness, and ball retention.

He stated, “I think we lose the ball too often and we have to keep the ball. We have to be better running back. I think that is clear for everybody!”

I am the Right Guy - Amorim.

This honest assessment after three training sessions highlights his commitment to addressing the fundamental flaws that have plagued the club for years.

Amorim acknowledged that while he does not know how long it will take to implement these changes, he understands the urgency of winning games at Manchester United.

The new Manchester United head coach, Amorim wants better intensity from his new players.

“I do not know about repair. But like I said, we have space to grow as a team. I think we have to improve in a lot of areas and the understanding of the game,” he explained.

His insistence on improvement reflects a clear vision for revitalising a squad that has struggled with consistency.

Ruben Amorim handled his first training session on Monday.

The new boss also expressed confidence in his ability to lead the team, stating,

“Call me naïve, but I truly believe that I am the right guy in the right moment.” This declaration not only captures his self-assuredness but also sets a tone of optimism for fans eager for a turnaround.

Amorim says United must protect the ball better.

Amorim's focus on enhancing the physical aspect of the team is paramount, as he noted, “I think we have to improve the physical aspect of the team. I don’t know how long it will take, but if you are in United you have to win games.”

His approach emphasises both immediate results and long-term development.
