Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has expressed regret over Galatasaray's poor Europa League draw on Thursday.
Galatasaray played a 1-1 draw against AZ Alkmaar, failing to take the opportunity to go top of the Europa League table.
In the absence of Icardi, Osimhen led Galatasaray’s attack, but the team found it difficult to settle into the game.
Sven Mijnans gave the Eredivisie the lead in the second minute, but Osimhen gave his team an equaliser shortly before halftime.

Osimhen disappointed in draw
Osimhen was disappointed after the game because he thought Galatasaray might have gained more from the match.
According to Skorer, he said, “We conceded a goal very early, it was a goal we didn’t expect. After the goal, we got more of the ball than our opponents, although they missed some chances.
“This score shouldn’t have been like this. We clearly missed some chances. But at least we fought till the end, we wanted it and that was a good message.
“We lost points, but we will advance to the final. We will do everything to get the cup. We talked about that inside, we will fight till the end.”
Galatasaray dominated the game but were unable to cause much disruption to the AZ Alkmaar defence.
Osimhen's goal in stoppage time gave them the impression that they had won all three points. However, because of a foul in the build-up to the goal, VAR disallowed it.
On Sunday, Galatasaray will play Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig, and they hope to get back to winning ways.
