Manuel Ugarte: What Manchester United fans should expect from their new anchor man
Manchester United fans have been complaining about inconsistencies in their midfield as seen from the battering at home at the hands of Liverpool and Manuel Ugarte has come to alleviate them of these issues.
What Nuno said
Speaking after the triumph, the former Wolves boss explained how his team set up for the game.
"Realising Liverpool are such a good team it required a lot of effort from the players, the organisation, tackling and the cover,” he said, per the BBC.
"The only way to achieve anything here is if you are organised and do everything that you can.”
Nottingham Forest won the game through their electrifying counterattacks, made possible by their wingers. Nuno explained how he had to refresh the team’s energy; Odoi, a substitute, came on and scored the winner.
"When you start the way we started with our wingers, Nico Dominguez and Elliot Anderson—all the effort of them tracking Liverpool's full-backs it is a lot of energy.”
"The team needed fresh legs and they played well. We are working hard and it is about building and believing in this idea that you can develop."
