Silva speaks on City game
Speaking after the game, Silva explained the situation of the team after Rodri sustained a Knee injury in the first half.
According to Fabrizio on X, Silva said, "It all started in the very first second. In the first action, we realised what was going to happen.
"We had a player injured after they sent him to the ground twice in 10 minutes. We had a goal conceded after the referee called our captain and then didn't allow him to recover his position.
"The second goal is already their usual block to our keeper allowed by the referee. And then the referee allowed a sequence of time-wasting events.
In the first few seconds, Rodri also went down after colliding with Kai Havertz, but the video assistant referee (VAR) decided not to penalise him for it.
Twenty-one minutes later, he got injured after seeming to twist his knee while tussling with Thomas Partey of Arsenal.
Man City are yet to determine the extent of the injury as they await results from the medical staff.
