Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi has backed his new manager, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, despite the team’s poor run in the Premier League.
In late November, Van Nistelrooy took over as manager when Steve Cooper was fired while Leicester was only two points above the relegation zone.
The Manchester United legend signed a contract that would last until June 2027 after leaving the Red Devils upon the appointment of Ruben Amorim.
However, he has only managed just one win in his first five games for Leicester this season in the Premier League.

Ndidi supports Nistelrooy
Ndidi has commended Nistelrooy's strategy and asked for endurance as the team makes its way through a difficult Premier League campaign.
Speaking to the Punch, the Nigerian midfielder said, “It’s going well. He’s an amazing manager with an amazing personality who is trying to put the team together.
“He’s building up from there, and with time, we will get his philosophy and win games. There are still many games to play, and we are up for it.
“We have the quality to remain in the league. Things are not going the right way now, but we have the quality to get there with time.”
Nistelrooy's reign got off to a good start as the Foxes ended a six-match losing streak by defeating West Ham United 3-1.
However, Leicester are now firmly in the relegation zone after suffering three straight losses, including a 3-1 loss to Liverpool on Boxing Day.
