Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has claimed that he is confident about going to the Super Eagles AFCON qualifiers after his performance over the weekend.
The 25-year-old was in action for Galatasaray on Sunday as the Turkish side maintained their unbeaten run this season.
Osimhen scored two goals to help Galatasaray seal a 3-2 victory against third-placed Samsunspor.
The forward has now scored eight goals and provided three assists in his last nine games in all competitions.

Osimhen ready for Super Eagles
In his post-match reflection, Osimhen emphasised how the win improved his and his colleagues' moods as they prepared to play for their respective national teams.
According to Footmac on X, Osimhen said, “The victory was important. We will go to the Super Eagles with this self-confidence. When we return, we have the power to win every match.”
Osimhen has been selected for the forthcoming AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and the Benin Republic by Augustine Eguavoen, and he is expected to return to the national team.
