The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have praised the women's senior national team for their most recent performances as well as the 'positive team spirit' prior to the Women's World Cup.
Nigeria's football governing body made its position known via communique from an executive committee meeting held at the NFF secretariat on Monday, April 17.

Super Falcons on a 3-game win streak
Following a lengthy and unfortunate spell that saw the Super Falcons lose seven consecutive matches, the Randy Waldrum-led side has since February 2023, won all its matches.
Nigeria recorded its most recent victory: 3-0, against the 2023 Women's World Cup co-hosts New Zealand, in a pre-competition friendly held in Turkey.

NFF happy with team mood
In the communique, the NFF urged that the team continue in such vein heading into the Women's World Cup scheduled to start on July 20.
"The Board expressed satisfaction with the new positive spirit and winning mentality in the camp of the senior women national team, Super Falcons, which has seen the team win its last three international matches.
