West Ham have reportedly made an offer to sign Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay from Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United reportedly rejected a bid of around £20m from West Ham for Maguire at the end of July but the Hammers are determined to land the ex-United captain.

David Moyes is keen to strenghten his squad, particularly covering the spine of central defence and midfield and has identified Maguire and his Red Devils teammate Scott McTominay as solid targets, according to the Athletic.

United boss Erik ten Hag is believed to be against selling McTominay but would reluctantly let the Scotland international leave, if the offer is good enough.

The Red Devils need to balance the books after bringing in Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund.

The Hammers proposal for Maguire of around £30m is close to a figure United would accept, but they will need to make an improved bid to land McTominay as well.
